Andddd…..we’re back – with another fresh episode of America’s Next Pop Icon! On today’s show, we have 16-year-old artist Kacey Fifield with us, and we’re super excited to hear some of her new music.
We know you’re all dying to hear the iconic news, so without further ado…it’s “Iconic News” with Jessica Wood! We learn that Robin Thicke wrote a song about a teenage bank robbery experience that made it onto a Grammy-winning album for Lil Wayne. Hmm, pretty cool.
We’re so excited to have Los Angeles-based Kacey Fifield on the show with us today. The young starlet has been releasing singles and singing since the age of 10, and has released over 12 singles since she got started. We got the scoop on her new single “Last Breath,” which originated as a collaboration with her vocal instructor Robbie Rosen. Fifield says, “It’s about someone you’ve lost touch with, but still want to be there for you if things go awry in your life.” Definitely relatable. The track is really gorgeous duet with pensive lyrics; Robin and Kacey’s voices complement each other. We also got to hear her track “Confidential,” with an accompanying lyric music video. Check her out on Instagram and Spotify!
